About this event

Tobacco-Free for a Healthy New Jersey will be hosting three regional conferences on March 30, March 31, and April 1 to convene professionals in the field to address New Jersey’s challenges related to tobacco age-of-sale enforcement. Our goal is to equip attendees with practical knowledge and tools they can bring back to their communities to support the adoption of stronger policies and improved enforcement strategies.

The conference, titled STOMP: Stop Tobacco Offenses Merchant Program Conference, will focus on preventing youth tobacco access, enhancing enforcement efforts, and strengthening policies. Each conference will feature the same agenda and content, delivered in three different locations. Presentations will be organized into three segments covering national perspectives, statewide initiatives, and local policy approaches to continue advancing efforts to end youth tobacco use at the point-of-sale. We anticipate attendees being law enforcement, health departments, prevention agencies, concerned community members, and public health professionals. Public Health CEs will be provided by NJACCHO.
Registration and Breakfasat begin at 9:15 a.m.
